CHS PROM SHOP 2027

Prom Shop donations have CLOSED for 2026, but will reopen in January 2027! Huge thanks to our local partners who served as drop-off locations this year: 

Looking ahead to Prom Shop 2027 ... 

Wondering what to do with that magical dress that won't be worn again? How about the tuxedo or suit your teen, college student, or young adult outgrew? Reclaim your closet space — and help make CHS students' prom dreams come true! 

In January 2027, we'll begin collecting teen-approved, prom-appropriate formalwear at locations throughout Maplewood and South Orange.

Then, in April 2027, we'll need volunteers to sort, set up, and help students shop. Love to organize? Got a knack for finding the perfect look? Handy with a needle and thread? There's a role for everyone.

WHAT WE WILL NEED: 

Dresses:

• Floor-length gowns

• Formal dresses in all sizes (0-24+)

• All colors and styles welcome

Suits & Tuxedos:

• Complete suits (jacket and pants)

• Tuxedos with accessories

• Dress shirts (white, black, colored)

• Ties and bow ties

• Vests and cummerbunds

• All sizes needed

Shoes:

• Dress shoes and heels

• Men’s dress shoes

• All sizes

Accessories:

• Clutches and evening bags

• Jewelry (costume jewelry welcome)

• Shawls and wraps

• Belts
