WARM THANKS!

Cougar Cares' December Giving Closet event spread warmth and good cheer as students headed off the long holiday break.

Local fiber artist (and CHS alum!) Kennedy DuBose created and donated the most adorable CHS Buddies keychains. Thank you, Kennedy, for sharing your talent, time, and heart. ❤️

We also offered cozy pajamas, warm boots, coats, snacks, beauty and skin care treats, and so much more. All free and all thanks to our incredible CHS community!

COOKIE KUDOS!

Over 100 bakers donated more than 250 dozen cookies that were packaged into 300 gift boxes by 22 volunteers ... thank you to all who baked and packaged. This CHS tradition — since 2014! — is made possible by the kindness (and baking skills!) of our amazing CHS families.

There were so many cookies — the most ever — we shared platters with MAC Scholars and the CHS Wellness Center, and delivered to the Maplewood South Orange fire, police and rescue departments. Thank you to everyone who helped make this beloved tradition a sweet success!

And the Holiday Brunch? Just as amazing! The breakfast spread was incredible and our CHS teachers and staff were so appreciative — and many were back for a mid-morning snack!

Huge thanks to Sonny's Bagels in South Orange for going truly above and beyond to help us send our CHS Staff off for the holiday break with bellies full of fresh bagels, spreads, fruit, and coffee.

As always, we are grateful for CHS families' enthusiastic support of HSA events like the holiday brunch and cookie gifting. We couldn't do it without you!

There's something for everyone at CHS! An incredible number of clubs and activities and sports are available to students. Students should check daily Canvas announcements for info on time/location of club meetings.
