Welcome to the 2019–20 School Year!
The CHS Home and School Association (HSA) would like to welcome all students and families back to Columbia High School! We hope you had a relaxing summer and are recharged and excited for the new year.
The HSA is dedicated to partnering with administrators to support all CHS students, families, and staff. We have met over the summer with Interim Principal Dr. Kalisha Morgan and the administrative team to help prepare for a successful 2019-20 school year.
Our website, including the HSA calendar, has been updated for the year and includes most everything you will need to navigate the school year. If you can’t find something you are looking for or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Week-to-week, we will be sending you news and information through our HSA e-blasts. These are a great source of information on academic and extracurricular activities, reminders of upcoming meetings and events, and district-wide developments and announcements. To stay informed and up to date, please make sure you sign up to receive these e-blasts by clicking here.
We hope you’ll become a member of the CHS HSA. It’s s another great way to be connected to the school and support student and teacher initiatives. You may return your completed CHS HSA membership form (recently mailed home in a back-to-school packet) to the CHS main office or sign up online by clicking here.
Be sure to ‘like’ our Facebook page as well. Check it out now!
The first HSA meeting will be Monday, September 9th at 7:30 pm in Room A107. Throughout the year, meetings will take place on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 pm, usually in Room A107. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Finally, If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the HSA, please send us an email.
Best wishes to your students for a wonderful school year!
