Midnight Madness

Midnight Madness is a 35 year old tradition that gives students a safe, all-night substance-free celebration on the evening of graduation. Our goal is to make this tradition accessible to as many of our senior class of 450 as possible. Check in begins after the graduation ceremony at Columbia High School cafeteria. Graduates board buses and are taken to a secret location. Dinner is served and students will experience a night to remember. Students will be bused back to Columbia High School. Planning for Midnight Madness for celebrating the Class of 2023 is underway!

Lawn signs to congratulate your 2023 CHS graduate are now available for ordering! Please be sure to indicate your senior’s first name as they would like it to appear on the sign (that is, do they want their full name or a nickname?).

All seniors will receive a sign, but ordering early is helpful with our fundraising efforts to support Midnight Madness, a drug- and alcohol-free celebration for graduating seniors to stay safe on graduation night.

Time is running out to flock a  CHS Senior!

Flock a senior by March 20 for $25; after that the flock price will increase.

The “flocking” is a mysterious surprise delivered to a graduating senior’s front yard that leaves a beautiful sprinkling of the pink flamingos in its trail.

The fundraising effort is not only a great way to recognize our Senior class but also helps to support another fun CHS tradition called Midnight Madness, a drug-and alcohol-free celebration for graduating seniors at CHS.

So join the fun and help to surprise your senior, a CHS Class of 2023 friend or neighbor with a flock of flamingos!  It’s easy and fun, and supports such amazing CHS traditions!

Your $25 per flock donation can be made by clicking here and will deliver this colorful flock to any senior in SOMA.  Our goal is to flock as many seniors as possible, so if you are able, please consider donating a flock or two … spreading the love so that every senior is celebrated.

NOTE: If there are any senior who would prefer NOT to be flocked, please contact the Midnight Madness team at mm@columbiahsa.com.
